  1. Remove the liftgate applique.
  2. Remove the luggage shade from the liftgate.

    Disconnect the 2 retaining cords.

  3. Remove the upper right and left liftgate (1) garnish moldings.
    1. Remove the 2 luggage shade retainers (2).
    2. Release the 6 clips.

  4. Remove the liftgate lock panel.
    1. Remove the body-bound rivet.
    2. Release the 3 inner handle cups.

  5. Remove the lower liftgate inner paneling.

    Release the 8 clips.
