Removal Procedure

2009 Saturn Astra XR, 2D Hatchback, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) or Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) .

  2. Partly loosen the water vapor barrier.
    • Remove the 2 holding angles.
    • Remove the 2 pins.

  3. Remove the front door lock - left side.
    • Remove the 3 bolts.
    • Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
    • Disconnect the 2 connector linkages.
    • Remove the retainer clip.

  4. Remove the front door cable inner door actuator.

    Remove the cable from bracket.
