Removal Procedure

2009 Saturn Astra XR, 2D Hatchback, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
    WARNING: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .
  1. Disconnect the battery.
  2. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .

  4. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.
    • Open the I/P compartment cover.
    • Remove the 4 bolts (1).
    • Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
    • Remove the I/P compartment.

  6. Remove the windshield antenna.
    • Remove the windshield antenna with a plastic wedge.
    • Guide the wiring harness (1) with the antenna through the instrument panel padding.
  7. Disconnect the antenna cable.
