Removal Procedure
2005 Saturn Relay AWDSECTION Removal Procedure
- Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
- Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers ReplacementΒ .
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the multifunction switch.
- Remove the wiring harness (1) from the steering column harness strap (2).
- Disconnect the multifunction switch electrical connectors from the steering column wiring harness.
- Remove the multifunction switch retaining screws (1).
- Remove the multifunction switch (2) from the steering column.
- Remove the SIR coil from the steering column shaft. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Replacement in SIR.
