WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Install the cooler line assembly to the transmission.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the cooler line retaining nut at the transmission.
Tighten
Tighten the lines to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
- Connect the transmission cooler lines to the radiator.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
Important: Do not use ATF P/N 21005966 or P/N 21019223, these fluids are not compatible with this transmission. Use Saturn P/N 22688912.
- Add fluid to the transmission as necessary. Refer to Transmission Fluid Checking Procedure .
- Start the engine a check for leaks.
