BTSI Solenoid: Installation
2000 Saturn SL2 Automatic, MP6SECTION Installation
- Install solenoid into shifter assembly. See Fig 1 . Connect plastic retainer at solenoid base and at the park lock lever. Connect BTSI solenoid harness connector.
- Install console. See FLOOR CONSOLEΒ . Enable the SIR System. See AIR BAG DEACTIVATION PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION.
- Verify operation. Turn ignition switch to the ON position. Attempt to move shift lever out of Park position. Lever should be allowed to move out of the Park position.
