Steering Column: Installation

2000 Saturn SL2 Automatic, MP6SECTION Installation

Install steering column upper and lower bolts, but do not tighten. Connect intermediate steering shaft, and tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  . Tighten lower steering column bracket bolts and nuts to specification. Tighten upper steering column support bracket bolt to specification. To complete installation, reverse remainder of removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification. Install NEW shear bolts when installing ignition module assembly.
