2000 Saturn SL2 Automatic, MP6SECTION Removal & Installation (Front)
  1. Remove headline. See HEADLINERΒ  . Disconnect front drain hose from power sun roof assembly drain tray. Attach about 8 ft. (2.5 m) electrical wire to top of front drain hose and to drain tray. Wire will serve as feeder for pulling new hose into place. Remove front lower trim and kick panel. Partially remove insulators at hinge pillar to access lower drain hose pillar attachment.
  2. Disconnect lower drain hose from bottom of lower hinge pillar. With feeder wire attached to top of drain hose, pull drain hose out from bottom of hinge pillar. Leaving feeder wire inside hinge pillar, disconnect feeder wire from drain hose.
  3. Attach replacement drain hose to top of feeder wire. Using feeder wire, carefully pull replacement drain hose down hinge pillar from inside passenger compartment. After drain hose has been routed, disconnect and remove feeder wire. Attach drain hose to lower grommet. Check drain hose for leaks. See DRAIN HOSESΒ  under ON-VEHICLE SERVICE. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
