REMOVAL

CAUTION: Make sure the vehicle is centered and properly positioned prior to lifting.

1. Raise vehicle.
2. Disconnect VSS harness connector.
3. Remove VSS.

INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT:
^ Clean and lubricate threads with transaxle fluid.
^ Inspect O-ring for damage. Replace if necessary.

1. Install VSS.

Torque: 26 N.m (19 ft-lbs)

2. Connect VSS harness connector. Push until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
3. Lower vehicle.
4. Check transaxle fluid level.
