STOPLAMP Switch: Installation
2000 Saturn SC2 Automatic, MP6SECTION Installation
- Position stoplamp switch to vehicle and install nut. Tighten nut to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).NOTE: There is a tab on the stoplamp switch that fits into a slotted hole. This tab keeps the stoplamp switch parallel to the brake pedal. Before tightening the bolt, ensure the plunger is fully depressed with the brake pedal released.
- Connect the stoplamp switch connector. See Fig 1 . Adjust switch. See STOPLAMP SWITCHΒ under ADJUSTMENTS.
