TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN
| SATURN: | 2000 - 2001 S-Series vehicles |
| SECTION: | Electrical |
SUBJECT
Service Information Regarding 2000 - 2001 S-Series Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Calibrations.
MODELS AFFECTED
2000 - 2001 Saturn S-Series vehicles.
PURPOSE
The following chart is issued as a calibration reference for PCMs used on 2000 - 2001 Saturn S - Series vehicles.
When vehicle diagnosis leads to recalibration or replacement of a PCM, the current PCM calibration should be verified with Tech 2 (ID information).
The Saturn Service Stall System (SSS) will display valid calibrations for the vehicle being serviced. The calibrations listed in the following chart may vary from those displayed on the SSS if updates are issued prior to this bulletin being updated.
For 1991 - 1999 Saturn S-Series calibration information, refer to Technical Information Bulletin 96-T-46B PCM & ABS EEPROM INFORMATION .
COLUMN HEADING IDENTIFICATION FOR 2000 - 2001 PCMs
SERVICE PLAN
This is the Saturn service P/N of the PCM which calibration ID can be programmed into. A service PCM must be programmed with a valid CALIBRATION ID before it will function properly.
ENGINE & EMISSIONS
Engine and Emissions are used to determine proper calibration number. Refer to Service Parts Identification Label for correct emissions.
DESCRIPTION
Description identifies the purpose of calibration.
TECHNICAL BULLETIN
This is the Saturn Technical Information Bulletin number (if applicable), which details important service, diagnostic, and/or parts information specific to using CALIBRATION ID and/or Service P/N.
CALIBRATION ID
CALIBRATION ID Is displayed electronically using the Scan tool.
