Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid (1.9L)
2000 Saturn SC2 Automatic, MP6SECTION Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid (1.9L)
- Disconnect transaxle harness connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between TCC solenoid terminals "E" and "K". See Fig 1. If resistance is not 3.5-6.0 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 3.5-6.0 ohms, check for poor terminal connection at transaxle harness connector. Repair as necessary. If connection is okay, replace PCM.
- Remove TCC solenoid connector plate. Using DVOM, measure resistance between TCC solenoid terminals "E" and "K". See Fig 1. If resistance is less than 4 ohms, replace TCC solenoid. If resistance is greater than 4 ohms, replace TCC solenoid connector plate.
