Transaxle Position Switch (A/T)

2000 Saturn LW1 AutomaticSECTION Transaxle Position Switch (A/T)

Place transaxle in Neutral. Remove shift control cable and transaxle control lever. Loosen transaxle position switch bolts. Using Transaxle Position Switch Alignment Tool (J41545), rotate switch until tool drops into position. See Fig 1 . Tighten transaxle position switch bolts. Ensure engine starts only in Park or Neutral position.
