Steering Wheel: Installation
2000 Saturn LW1 AutomaticSECTION Installation
- Route wiring through steering wheel and install steering wheel onto steering shaft, noting orientation notch that locates steering wheel in correct position.
- Remove Yellow tab (or tape) from SIR coil assembly. Install new steering wheel attachment nut and tighten to 30 ft. lbs. (40 N.m). Connect cruise control connector and install switch (if equipped). Connect horn switch connector. Install driver-side air bag module. See AIR BAG MODULESΒ .
- Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ . Check system for proper operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKΒ .
