  1. Using DVOM, check for voltage at connector C1 terminal "D" (Red wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ . If voltage is not present, replace cooling fan control unit. If voltage is present, go to next step.
  2. Check for continuity between terminal "E" at cooling fan control unit and terminal "B" at engine cooling fan No. 2. If continuity is not present, check for open in Black wire and repair as necessary. If continuity is present, go to next step.
  3. Check for continuity to ground at terminal "A" of cooling fan. If continuity is not present, check for open in ground circuit. If continuity is present, replace engine cooling fan.
