Lock Cylinder: Installation
Position lock cylinder on column with new shear bolts. See Fig 1. Ensure lock mechanism works correctly before tightening shear bolts. Tighten lower bolt first, then tighten shear bolts until heads break off. Install steering column and remaining components in reverse order of removal. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
