2000 Saturn LS AutomaticSECTION Disabling System (Astro & Safari)
- Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONSΒ . Turn front wheels to straight-ahead position. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove key from ignition switch
- Remove AIR BAG fuse from instrument panel fuse block. Wait at least 10 MINUTES. Remove sound insulator panel (if equipped) from lower left side of instrument panel. Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip, and disconnect driver air bag Yellow 2-pin connector at base of steering column.
- Remove the instrument panel extension located at center console panel below A/C controls and radio. Remove CPA clip, and disconnect passenger air bag Yellow 2-pin connector located behind instrument panel extension.
