Description & Operation: Odometer
TRIP odometer and TOTAL odometer readings will show in the odometer digital display. The push button located in the lower right side of the speedometer is used to toggle between TRIP and TOTAL odometer readings. To reset TRIP odometer, push and hold button down for at least 2 seconds.
TOTAL odometer display has 6 digits with no decimal display. TRIP odometer has four digits including a decimal point, indicating tenths of a mile or kilometer. BCM stores the vehicle mileage and if BCM fails, cluster will display last valid mileage that was sent before BCM failed. If instrument cluster fails, the mileage stored in BCM will be sent to new instrument cluster through Class-2 serial data link.
