Brake Switch Connectors:
The brake switch will store an Information flag for certain fault conditions. The scan tool can he used to verify proper signals to the PCM/TC.
- Check brake switch connector for open, spread or corroded terminals.
- Test switch by checking continuity across terminal "A" at switch and terminal "D" at switch. Continuity should he present with brake off. Continuity should not be present with brake on. If damaged, replace switch.
