Code P053, 4X Reference SGNL Interrupt From IGN CNTRL Module: Notes
Code P053 is set if PCM does not receive 4X reference pulses from Ignition Control Module (ICM) for more than .4 second. Since PFI system requires ICM pulses in order to trigger injectors, most occurrences of Code P053 will be accompanied by a stall.

When to See a Mechanic
