Vehicle Set Up
1992 Saturn SL StandardSECTION Vehicle Set Up
Driver seated in vehicle, shoulder belts connected, both slider (mice) at "A" pillar, ignition key out of ignition, doors closed.
- Buckle driver's lap belt. Turn ignition to RUN position. Both belts should go to "B" pillar.
- Open driver's door. Driver's belt should go to "A" pillar.
- Close driver's door. Driver's belt should go to "B" pillar.
- Open passenger's door. Passenger's belt should go to "A" pillar.
- Close passenger's door. Passenger's belt should go to "B" pillar.
- Turn ignition Off. Do not remove key. Driver's belt stays at "B" pillar and passenger's belt stays at "B" pillar.
- Remove ignition key. Driver's belt goes to "A" pillar and passenger's belt stays at "B" pillar.
- Open and close driver's door. Driver's belt stays at "A" pillar and passenger's belt stays at "B" pillar.
- Open passenger's door. Passenger's belt should go to "A" pillar and driver's belt stays at "A" pillar.
- Close passenger's door. Both belts stay at "A" pillar
If system performance is not verified, continue to PASSIVE RESTRAINT DIAGNOSIS CHARTS.
