1. Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor connector, located on the upper front left side of the engine.

2. Using tester SA92O5Z (or equivalent) and a digital multimeter (set to the OHMS scale), connect one lead to the coolant temperature sensor connector and one lead to engine ground.

3. Turn ignition to the RUN position (do not start engine).

4. Set input resistances as shown in the table.

If the IP cluster temperature gage is not accurate, service is by cluster replacement only. After replacing the IP cluster, repeat the above procedure to verify proper operation.
