DIS COILS
CAUTION: On vehicles equipped with a SIR system, disable the SIR system. SEE SERVICE PRECAUTIONS/ VEHICLE DAMAGE WARNINGS/ DISABLING-ENABLING THE SIR SYSTEM.
REMOVAL
1. Remove module and coils assembly. Service and Repair
2. Using a pair of needle nose pliers, squeeze the taps retaining the coils while pulling up.
INSTALLATION
1. Line up coil with terminals on module. Guide the coil onto the module and over the tabs.
2. Install module and coils. Service and Repair
CAUTION: On vehicles equipped with a SIR system, enable the SIR system. SEE SERVICE PRECAUTIONS/ VEHICLE DAMAGE WARNINGS/ DISABLING-ENABLING THE SIR SYSTEM.
