Compressor Temperature Sensor

1992 Saturn SL L4-1.9L DOHC VIN 7SECTION Compressor Temperature Sensor
REMOVAL

IMPORTANT: The air conditioning system does not have to be discharged to remove the temperature sensor.





1. Remove connector position assurance (CPA) device from connector and remove connector.





2. Remove the two wire retaining screws on compressor body.





3. Remove temperature sensor using temperature sensor wrench SA9149AC-1.

INSTALLATION





1. Install temperature sensor. Torque to specification.

Torque: 7.2 N in (64 in-lbs)





2. Install the wire retaining screw on compressor body.





3. Connect clutch electrical connector and install CPA device.
