Code P065, Cruise Control Servo Position Sensor Failure: Notes
Code P065 will detect a cruise control servo position sensor failure. Cruise servo position sensor is a variable inductance sensor whose inductance changes with servo position. Code P065 sets when PCM detects a low servo position signal indicating an open or short in cruise servo position sensor circuit.

When to See a Mechanic
