- Check for Code 95. If Code 95 is set, service it first.
- Suspected intermittents or opens at connectors can be detected with diagnostic service probe which permits voltage to be measured on wires without unplugging connectors. Ensure all terminals make good connection.
- When diagnosing intermittent problems, select MALF HISTORY from Scan tester ABS menu. Supplemental data can be used to duplicate problem.NOTE: System initialization alternates between left front/rear and right front/rear with each ignition cycle.
- ABS will initialize when vehicle is driven faster than 3 MPH (5 km/h).
- Brake switch is normally held open by brake pedal. Pressing brake allows switch to close.
