- The window should be closed.
- Remove the Front door trim, 4D and fold down the water barrier. See DOOR TRIM, FRONT .
- Cars with guard:Β Remove the guard's screws.
- Detach the lock cover to the handle rod.
- Loosen the handle's rod from the clip.
- Cars with guard:Β Remove the bolts on the lock unit.
- Cars with guard:Β Remove the guard by coaxing it out.
- Fit the upper rear nut to the handle and lock cylinder.
- Turn the lock cylinder anticlockwise and pull out the cylinder from the handle.
- Unhook the lock cylinder from the lock rod.
