- Open the bootlid and remove the trim.
- Remove the lock cover by inserting a screwdriver and undoing the catches.
- Remove the lock's screws
- Cars with guard:Β Lift out the guard, which is secured with the lower screw.
- Remove the lock cylinder nuts. Remove the cylinder cover. Unhook the cable.
- Lift out the lock.
- Unplug the connector.
- US/CA:Β Remove the cable for the emergency opening handle from the bracket.
