  1. Remove the license plate pocket. Refer to Rear Door Outside Handle and License Pocket Replacement .
  2. Cut the crimped end off the liftgate handle pin.
  3. Remove the liftgate handle pin.
  4. Remove the liftgate handle.

  5. Remove the liftgate handle lever bracket.

  6. Remove the liftgate handle spring.
