Removal Procedure

- Remove the lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement .
- Use a small flat bladed tool to gently pry outward at the tabs (1, 2) to disengage the exciter module (3) from the key cylinder (4).
- Remove the theft deterrent exciter module from ignition lock cylinder case assembly.
