  1. Remove the lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement .
  2. Use a small flat bladed tool to gently pry outward at the tabs (1, 2) to disengage the exciter module (3) from the key cylinder (4).
  3. Remove the theft deterrent exciter module from ignition lock cylinder case assembly.
