Drive Belt For Auxiliaries

To remove





1. Detach the air cleaner and put it to one side.
2. Relieve the tension on the belt tensioner with a jointed handle and insert a 3.5 mm drill in the hole.

IMPORTANT: Exercise the utmost care to ensure that the belt tensioner does not break at its end position!





3. Remove the drive belt from the pulleys.
4. Raise the car, remove the front right wheel and the cover. Remove the drive belt.

To fit





1. Fit the drive belt and check its position on all the belt pulleys.
2. Fit the cover and wheel.
Tightening torques:
Wheels: 110 Nm (84 ft. lbs.)





3. Lower the car. Relieve the pressure on the belt tensioner with a ratchet handle extension and remove the drill.
4. Fit the air cleaner.
5. Start the engine and run it at idling speed for a while. Switch off the engine and check that the belt is positioned correctly.
