To remove





1. Open the bonnet.
2. Detach the main fuse box and move it aside.
3. Separate the connector, press in its catch and remove it from the bracket.
4. Snip the cable tie on the suspension strut tower.
5. Unplug the level sensor's connector. Also detach the expansion tank and move it aside.
6. Raise the car and remove the wheel.





7. Clean the area round the wheel sensor using a soft wire brush.
8. Undo the wheel sensor retaining bolt and remove the wheel sensor.
9. Remove the grommet and withdraw the lead.
10. Detach the lead from the clips and lift out the sensor.


To fit





1. Insert the lead and press the connector home.
2. Fit the wheel sensor in its holder and tighten the retaining bolt.
3. Smear the rubber grommet with a soap solution and fit it in lace.
4. Press the lead into the retaining clips.





5. Fit the wheel.
Lower the car.
Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.)
6. Plug in the connector.
7. Fit a new cable tie to the suspension strut tower.
8. Plug in the level sensor's connector and refit the expansion tank.
9. Fit the main fuse box in place.
