Seal Ring - Selector Rod, Removed Gearbox

To remove
1. Pry out the seal using a narrow screwdriver.
IMPORTANT: Do not damage the sealing surface on the selector rod.
To fit
1. Clean the selector rod and check that it has no burrs.
2. Wind a layer of thin, smooth plastic tape around the hole in the selector rod.
3. Remove the tape and tap in the seal with assembly fixture 87 90 685 and clamp 87 91 709. Tap only so far that the seal is level with the clutch housing.
