- Relieve fuel pressure. See FUEL PRESSURE RELEASEΒ . Disconnect fuel lines at fuel pressure regulator and fuel injection manifold. Drain coolant. Disconnect coolant hose at thermostat housing. Remove fuel pressure regulator. Remove ground connections as necessary.
- Remove auxiliary air valve (if equipped). Unbolt A/C bracket from cylinder head. Remove intake manifold, fuel injectors and fuel rail as an assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
