Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Installation

- Ensure "0" mark on flywheel aligns with timing mark on flywheel cover. Install intake camshaft with bearing caps No. 1-5, and exhaust camshaft with bearing caps No. 6-10.
- Tighten bearing cap bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Rotate camshafts until they are aligned with their respective timing marks. See Fig 1. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation.
