- Measure distance between cable crimp and cable housing when throttle is opened to wide open position (just before kickdown on transmission cam). Distance should be 1.54" (39 mm).
- With throttle in idle position, again measure distance between cable crimp and cable housing. Distance should be .098" (2.5 mm). Loosen both lock nuts on throttle housing bracket to adjust. Tighten lock nuts.
