The new EPROM that has been developed for the ISAT enables a completely new command code system to be used when carrying out fault diagnosis on model year 1994 cars.

Up to now, a three-digit code has been used to obtain readings or activate signals and functions. Starting with M94 cars, this has been superseded by a system of menus in clear text which make it easy to select the desired "command" directly on the keypad.

The structure of the MOTRONIC system's command menus will be evident from the schematic arrangement on the next page.

We then see that there are eight main menus, five of them with a sub-menu containing different numbers of commands or functions.
