- Ensure fuse No. 12 (15-amp), fuse No. 21 (10-amp), and fuse No. 27 (15-amp) are okay. Fuse block is located at end of instrument panel. Connect breakout box to A/C-heater control panel (control module). Place ignition switch in normal driving position.
- Check voltage drop between battery positive terminal and pin No. 22 (Red/White wire). Check voltage drop between positive battery terminal and pin No. 4 (Brown/Gray wire). Voltage drops should be less than 0.5 volt.
- Check voltage drop between negative battery terminal and pin No. 1 (Black ground wire). Voltage drop should be less than 0.4 volt with blower motor fan at highest speed (full fan).
- If voltage drops are not as specified, repair wiring harness open circuit(s). If voltage drops are as specified, power and ground circuits test okay.
