Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Programming Mode
The A/C-heater control may be programmed by the user. The manual setting can be programmed so that the A/C-heater control panel selects them after starting vehicle.
Those functions that have not been selected manually when programming will be controlled automatically. The heated rear window and air recirculation can only be programmed for the opposite of what the AUTO program selected when programming was carried out.
Programming is carried out by simultaneously pressing ECON and blower fan speed increase push button. See Fig 1 . Cancelling programming mode is done by simultaneously pressing floor and heated rear window push button. In both instances, the selection is acknowledged by flashing of the background lighting. Programmed settings are activated only when ignition has been switched off for more than 4 minutes.
