Abs ECM
ABS ECM, integrated in hydraulic brake unit between battery and front electrical distribution box, controls braking power distribution between front and rear wheels using boost pressure control valves. ABS ECM can also detect faults in electronic components in ABS system and in its own circuits. If a fault is detected, ABS ECM will disengage ABS modulation and ABS warning light will come on. System is capable of storing 18 Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

When to See a Mechanic
