  1. Ensure ignition switch is off. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between TCM terminals No. 33 and 35. If resistance is as specified in ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE & VOLTAGEΒ  table, sensor and wiring are okay.
  2. If resistance is not as specified, test ground circuit from sensor to attachment below center console. If ATF temperature sensor ground circuit is okay, replace sensor.
