Gear Change Mechanism: Reassembly

- Assemble forks and actuators on their respective shafts and drive in NEW spring pins. Install spring and ball into bearing support and install 1st/2nd shift shaft. See Fig 3 - Fig 6 .
- Install catch ball for double position mechanism in 3rd/4th gear shift shaft catch ball seat. Install pin in 3rd/4th gear shift shaft and spring and ball in bearing support. Press in ball and spring. Install 3rd/4th gear shift shaft. Ensure 1st/2nd gear shift shaft fits through hole in 3rd/4th gear shift shaft fork.
- Install catch ball for double position mechanism in 5th gear shift shaft catch ball seat. Install pin in 5th gear shift shaft and spring and ball in bearing support. Press in ball and spring. Install 5th gear shift shaft.
- Install catch ball for double position mechanism in Reverse gear shift shaft catch ball seat. Install spring and ball in bearing support. Press in ball and spring. Install Reverse gear shift shaft.
- Install selector lever with springs and sleeves in bearing support. Press in shaft and drive in a NEW spring pin.
