Disabling Driver-Side Air Bag

1994 Saab 9000 CD, StandardSECTION Disabling Driver-Side Air Bag

Disconnect both battery cables. Remove access panel from steering wheel. See Figure. Remove Red short connector, located on inside of access panel. Disconnect air bag connector from cable reel connector. Connect Red short connector to air bag connector. Disable passenger-side air bag (if equipped).
