Before replacing a control module, perform the following steps before definitely deciding that control module is at fault:

  1. Ensure that all diagnostic procedures for the relevant trouble code have been carried out. If necessary, see FAULT DIAGNOSISΒ  .
  2. Study the WIRING DIAGRAMΒ  of the circuit in question and make sure you understand how it works. If necessary, see DESCRIPTIONΒ  and OPERATIONΒ  .
  3. Check ALL ground points. If this has already been done, do it again. Check A/C-heater control panel (control module) power supply. If fault persists, replace control module.
