1994 Saab 900 SE, 2D Hatchback, 2.5 V, AutomaticSECTION Dashpot
  1. Connect tachometer. Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Adjust idle speed to specification. See ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
  2. Increase engine speed to 3000 RPM. Release throttle, noting time between release of throttle and return to idle. Deceleration time should be 3-5 seconds from contact of plunger.
