Disassembly & Reassembly
Place differential in a soft-jaw vice. Remove bolts and ring gear. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . Pull off differential bearings using puller. On 9000 models, cut speedometer drive gear to remove it. On all models, remove pinion shaft dowel and pinion shaft. Remove differential gears and wear discs. To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. Tighten NEW ring gear bolts to specification.
