NOTE:
The ICE does not control the normal wiper system, only the intermittent function.
- Check that there is 12 V on pin 7 in the switch's connector when the switch is in position II. If not, fit a new switch. See Fig 1 .
- Check that there is 12 V on pin 4 in the windscreen wiper motor's connector and a safe grounding point. If not, check the wiring between pin 7 in the switch's connector and pin 4 in the windscreen wiper motor's connector for any open circuits/short circuits.
- If the windscreen wiper motor does not work in spite of the above checks, the fault is probably in the motor. Fit a new motor. See:

When to See a Mechanic
