Pedal Switches
If clutch or brake pedal is depressed, ground circuit is opened by corresponding pedal switch, releasing vacuum. Pedal switches are grounded across brake light bulbs. If a fault occurs in a pedal switch, cruise control system will be deactivated by brakelight switch

When to See a Mechanic
