Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Odometer & Trip Meter
The odometer display constitutes a replaceable unit. Information about the mileage is stored in the instrument unit. When a new display unit is fitted, no setting has to be done - the current mileage will be shown automatically. If the lighting on one half of the odometer display is weaker than on the other, it might be because one of the 2 lamps at the back of the display is broken.
- Connect ISAT to diagnostic connector. Select "TEST FUNCTIONS" followed by "MILLIMETER TEST" or "TRIP METER TEST", which switches on all segments in each meter (shows 8's). If a segment in one of the 8's is missing, the display unit is faulty.
- Using ISAT function "ACTIVATE" followed by "MILLIMETER" or "TRIP METER" any desired number can be selected (000000 - 999999 or 000.0 - 999.9) and shown on the display.
