  1. Check fuse No. 9 in fuse block (ignition power feed). Measure voltage at Red wire going into ignition cartridge. With ignition on, battery voltage should exist.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove fuse No. 14 (fuel pump). Remove ignition cartridge and spark plugs. Install spark plugs into ignition cartridge. Using jumper wires, connect negative electrodes of spark plugs together. Ground other ends of jumper wires.
  3. With ignition key, crank engine and observe tachometer. Needle of tachometer should hunt. Verify spark exists at all spark plugs. Release ignition key to RUN position for about 5 seconds. Verify tachometer needle hunts and multiple sparks occur at all spark plugs.
